PUERTO BANÚS

The Puerto José Banús, more commonly known as Puerto Banus is a luxury marina, located in the urbanization Nueva Andalucía-Marbella.

 

 

This tourist enclave has become, since it was opened in 1970 in one of the largest entertainment centers in the Costa del Solo, reaching international fame and prestige.

 

Its geographical location and visit many popular characters make it an attractive summer destination.

Beaches

The two beaches located on the sides of the harbor offer services of all kinds.

 

The beach of Puerto Banus or Rio Verde is spacious and perfect for those who love to water activities. The beach is about one kilometer long by 50 meters wide, the sand is golden and medium grain, and the state of the sea is almost always calm as it is protected by several breakwaters, making it ideal for bath. We can find several bars and hammocks areas plus stalls water activities.

 

 

The Playa del Duqueis formed by small breakwaters that are charming coves and protect bathers. plus it has some of the most famous beach clubs of Marbella: the Ocean Club and The Living by the Sea.

El Boulevard de la Fama

On the Boulevard of Fame tribute is paid to personalities who have promoted Marbella at national or international level through their professional dedication. And in one of the roundabouts port access we can contemplate the enormous sculpture, three-ton rhinoceros with lace dress (1956), Salvador Dalí.
